The 2025 National Tire Membership Conference & Xingda Eco-innovation Forum Held Grandly in Xinghua, Jiangsu Province

On April 25, the 2025 National Tire Membership Conference & Xingda Eco-innovation Forum, with the theme of “Seeking New Quality Productive Forces and Achieving Intelligent Development and Long-term Success”, was held grandly in Xinghua, Jiangsu Province. More than 300 representatives, experts and scholars from the industry and upstream and downstream enterprises across the country gathered in Xinghua to celebrate this grand event together.
At present, the unprecedented century-scale changes are accelerating, the global trade order is at a historical turning point of “rule reconstruction”, and the manufacturing industry is confronted with challenges such as intensified market competition, surging trade risks and rising operating costs. Meanwhile, the continuous emergence of new technologies has provided a broad space for the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. Xingda looks forward to working hand in hand with partners from the upstream and downstream of the industry, jointly promoting the transformation and upgrading of China's rubber industry. At the conference, several leaders delivered speeches. Subsequently, seven industry experts delivered wonderful reports on various themes such as market conditions, technological innovation and future development.
Mr. Liu Jinlan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Xingda Group, stated in his speech that Xingda Group will constantly uphold the core development concept of “stable quality, and green and low-carbon”, and focus on advancing the “standard, high-end, low-carbon and intelligent development” in production and manufacturing, so as to contribute Xingda's wisdom and strength to fostering new quality productive forces and achieving sustainable high-quality development throughout the industrial chain.
Mr. Chen Fengjian, Secretary of the CPC Xinghua Municipal Committee, congratulated the successful holding of the conference, and introduced Xinghua's humanistic history, industrial characteristics and planning for industrial upgrading and green development. Mr. Chen stated that entrepreneurs were welcomed to take this event as an opportunity to forge ties with Xinghua and work together to build industrial chains and seek new-quality development.
Ms. Xu Wenying, President of China Rubber Industry Association, called on the entire industry to transform development concepts, strengthen technological innovation, enhance internal management, improve product quality, and maintain sales channels to enhance the brand influence of Chinese tires. She demanded that the industry should be vigilant against the “intra-industry competition” with zero profits, and that enterprises should have determination and a sense of responsibility.
Mr. Shen Jinrong, Chairman of the Tire Branch of China Rubber Industry Association and Chairman of Zhongce Rubber Group Co., Ltd., delivered the chairman's work report. He pointed out that technology, cost, ecology and service are the ultimate competition in the domestic tire market in 2025, and that the industry should take “green” as the base color, “intelligence” as the engine, “integration” as the bond, and “quality” as the foundation to jointly explore the vast expanse of China's tire industry.
Mr. Zhou Zhisong, Vice President of Xingda Group, delivered a speech titled “Xingda Innovations: Pioneering Sustainable Development in the Industry”, decoding the Chinese solution in the field of steel cord from three aspects: market trends, performance, and innovative development.
Mr. Li Dong, Director of Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Research Institute of Rockwell Automation (China) Co., Ltd. held that the sustainable development of the tire industry requires the construction of a corresponding transformation path system to identify and estimate potential opportunities for energy conservation and carbon footprint reduction.
Mr. Wang Shifeng, a researcher from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, shared his insights on the targeted deconstruction and high-value utilization of multiple networks in waste tire rubber. This deconstruction technology enables truly efficient, controllable, stable and continuous regeneration of retired tires.
Mr. Lu Wencong, a professor at Shanghai University and Chairman of Shanghai Suzhiwei Information Technology Co., Ltd., discussed in his report that digital intelligent technology can effectively address issues related to the quality (yield) of new materials, the performance enhancement of new material products, and the process stability and optimization of new material production facilities.
Mr. Xun Yan, a researcher from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, analyzed the feasibility of replacing natural rubber with bionic synthetic rubber from multiple aspects such as technology, environmental protection and economy.
Mr. Yin Jie, Chairman and General Manager of Qingdao Jieyi International Logistics Co., Ltd., suggested in his speech that enterprises should focus on technological innovation, expand emerging markets, strengthen risk management, and at the same time, take advantage of the intelligent and green development of the shipping industry to constantly enhance their competitiveness.
Mr. Ma Zhong, Director of Standards and Regulations APAC at Continental Tires (China) Co., Ltd., analyzed the compliance challenges and regional regulatory differences faced by the tire industry, and proposed pathways for sustainable development and compliance breakthroughs in the context of global competition.
The 2025 National Tire Membership Conference & Xingda Eco-innovation Forum was successfully held, strengthening the cooperation and exchanges between the upstream and downstream of the industry and promoting the development of new quality productive forces within the industrial chain.
